Kinect Lesson 7 – Adjust Mouse Cursor (Kinect SDK Commercial V1)

Hello there to all of you Kinect fanatics. As some of you may have noticed, a lot of my lessons do not work anymore. There have been some issues with migrating the samples over to the new SDK (The full release).

I can now confirm that I have modified lessons 2,3,4,5 and 7. Lesson 6 does not need to be edited because it is a simple how to which is still very much relevant.

I am the Lead teacher of computing at Brooke Weston Academy in Corby Northamptonshire. Previously I was the head of IT/Computing at Uppingham Community College.     2- is it possible to emulate this mouse aproach ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQiIE2zMOh4 ) ? the box makes it easier to track and pan

    I have a two question.
    1. Mouse is controled by right hand, So Mouse’s active space is limited. I want to make mouse activate all background. and Mosue speed problem. How can i?
    2. Can I turn n and turn off Mouse control?

    http://kinectmultipoint.codeplex is my project with kinect and it actually emulates a real mouse as if it were a plugged in device but requires the device to already have a device driver because in reality its just creating the device with help of device driver. The code is only for educational or non-profit purposes but please modify but requires the device codes for a generic mouse which wdk forum guys should be able to tell you if you didnt read the docs on the page or implement something different. But so far i just pass x,y coordinates and do left clicks in input report (left mouse click down 0 and up 1). My project is more for emulating multiple mice for each person on kinect as a need for an experimental project i started at work.
